Robert Vandenaker

Robert A. Vandenaker, 73, beloved father and grandfather, passed away on October 9, 2023 at his home in Sandy, Utah.

Robert was born March 21, 1950, in Ogden, Utah. He graduated from Roy High in 1968, and went on to receive his BS in Business Management from Weber State University. He enjoyed a long and successful career in software marketing and sales, earning certification for NASD Series 7 License for The New York Stock Exchange, worked as Division Manager for Exact Software, and Director of Sales/Western States, for Infor Global Solutions. He loved his children and grandchildren fiercely, and had a passion for music and football.

He is survived by his children, James Mason Vandenaker, Lisa Jo Vandenaker, Blake Robert Vandenaker (wife Madai Pavia Ramos), and Brooke Maren Vandenaker. He treasured his four grandchildren, Maya, Vail, Oscar, and Blake, who he loved to visit in Mexico.

He is preceded in death by his daughter Jacqueline Vail, parents Andy Vandenaker and Ruth Adams Vandenaker, sister Jana LeClaire, brother Lyle Harrington, and sister Sandra Bennett.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 18, 2023 at 12:00 noon at Jenkins-Soffe Funeral Home, 1007 W. South Jordan Parkway (10600 So.) South Jordan, Utah. Interment to follow at Elysian Burial Gardens.
