Rodney Jakubisin

Rodney Jakubisin passed away November 27, 2021 at the age of 57. He was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on November 9, 1964 to Trudy Ellen Sanders and Anthony Jakubisin. He was the second oldest of one sister and one brother. He has lived in South Jordan for the past 7 years. He married Sheila Brown on June 23, 2001. He was a cabinet maker for 20 years and had many other talents. One of his loves was his Harley Davidson Motorcycle. He loved going to the movies and lunch with Sheila. Rod’s grandkids, nieces and nephews all felt loved and accepted by him. He was very funny and a good friend to all. Rod had a good heart and will be missed.

Survived by his wife Sheila, son Cody (Bobby) and daughter Tazia, grandsons Zaiyden, Gavin Jaden, Jaxon and granddaughter Sabree. Also survived by his brother Tony (Laura) and sister Gwen (Brian). Preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, December 3, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at South Jordan City Cemetery 10630 South 1055 West. A viewing will be held prior from 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. at Jenkins-Soffe South Valley, 1007 W. South Jordan Parkway (10600 So.) South Jordan, Utah.
