He was born September 22, 1945 in Soda Springs, Idaho to Homer James and Berniece Skinner Woodall. Roger married Kaye England, divorced; he later married his sweetheart, Barbara Grizzel, on September 23, 1996. Roger served two tours of duty during Vietnam with the US Navy as a Seabee. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved trapshooting with the Magna Gun Club and prospecting in British Columbia. He will be missed by his family—especially by his dog, Minnie. Survived by his wife, Barbara; children, Brandi (Bret) Strong, Laura (Greg) Bird; 5 step-children and their spouses; mother, Berniece; brother, Monte “Boots” (Barbara) Rudd; and 7 grandchildren. Preceded in death by his father, Homer; brother, Randy Woodall; son, Roger Max Woodall, Jr.; and granddaughter, Sydnee Bird. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 17, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at Jenkins-Soffe South Valley, 1007 W. South Jordan Parkway (10600 South) where friends and family may call Wednesday evening from 6-8 p.m. and Thursday from 10:00-10:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment will be at the Utah Veteran’s Memorial Park, 17111 S. Camp Williams Rd.
