Ronald M. Bennion, best dad ever, took his last ride on April 12, 2023 at his home in Mt. Pleasant. The eldest child of Melvin Bennion and son of Violet and Herbert Tracy. Ron was born and raised in SLC, where he met and married his soul mate, Claudia, on November 27, 1963.\n\nRon was a master mechanic who helped build roads around Salt Lake as well as Jordanelle State Park. He was a self-made man who loved building and rebuilding anything - if it was broke he could fix it and he was always willing to help. He loved waterskiing, hunting, working on his farm and most of all motorcycling with my mom and his many friends. He was an active member of Heritage Baptist Church and enjoyed working on many projects there as well as the monthly breakfast fellowship. \n\nMy dad was a survivor. He worked hard, played hard, and loved hard. He was the best daddy this little girl could ever hope to have. \n\nRon is survived by his daughter, Rochanne (David) Teems of Rome Georgia, grandchildren Dustan Teems, Caylen Teems, Colton (Chloe) Teems, all of Georgia. Kriss Hall of Murray. \nPreceded in death by his parents, wife Claudia, brother Paul, grandson Dyllin. \n\nSpecial thanks to his extended family Robyn and Dennis Munk and their lively bunch who provided Sunday coffee, funny moments, help whenever it was needed and of course all the holiday gatherings for both my parents. I love and appreciate you all.\n\nFuneral services will be held Tuesday April 18, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. with a viewing from 11:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. prior to the services under the direction of Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary at 4760 S. State Street, Murray, Utah. Interment at the Murray City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please donate to Lazy B Equine Sanctuary, Clinton Utah in honor of my mother and father. Thank you.
