Ronald Kent Platts

Ronald Kent Platts, our beloved husband, father and grandfather returned to our Heavenly Father on July 2, 2007 as a result of illness. He was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, April 27, 1947 to Glen & Viola Platts. He proudly served as Marine during the Vietnam War. He was awarded the Purple Heart. He was fearless with determination.
Ron was the owner of Platts Auto Plaza for the past 30 years. He spent his free time with his wife scuba diving, fishing and traveling in his motorhome.

He is survived by his beautiful wife, Judy (“Angel”), parents, Viola and Glen. his children, Chris, Jennifer, Che, Mark, Tyler; brothers, Dan, Mark, Scott and Ron’s greatest treasures, his grandchildren, Christian, Cody, Makalee, Kayson, Caleb, Brennen, Mercedes, Rudy, Kayden, Hailey and Katelyn. He was preceded in death by his son Gary.

Memorial Services will be held Monday, July 9, 2007, 2:00 pm at Jenkins-Soffe South Valley, 1007 W. South Jordan Parkway (10600 So.) where friends and family may call one hour prior to the service.
