Ronald Lee Reagan passed away peacefully at home in South Jordan, Utah on August 16th, 2023, after a long battle with health problems.\nRon was born February 19, 1941, in Los Angeles, CA, to Bennie Cedric Reagan and Blanche Lieb Reagan. He is preceded in death by his parents and his three brothers, Harry, James, and Tim. \nRon graduated in 1959 from Warren High School in Downey, CA, where he met Karen DeLuca Reagan. They married in 1963 in Las Vegas, NV. \nRon attended the University of Southern California for two years before beginning work at the family business, Handy Payments. He later became manager and part owner of the company. \nThe Reagans moved to Utah in 1980 where Ron established Cotton Tree Trading Company, showcasing his love of guns, coins, and other collectibles. He later opened Professional Armaments, Inc., a law enforcement supply company. He enjoyed running “Pro-Arms" for many years.\nRon loved collecting and shooting guns, boating, coaching sports, collecting stamps and coins, and making road trips…stopping at every national monument or tourist stop along the way. He rarely missed any of his kids’ or grandkids' sporting events or dance performances. Later in life, he became very involved with genealogy and volunteered countless hours at the LDS Church Family History Library.\nRon was an active member of the LDS church and served faithfully in the many callings he received.\nRon always said his greatest accomplishments in his life were his kids.\nRon is survived by his wife Karen DeLuca Reagan, his children - Michael Reagan (Mary), Patrick Reagan, Kelly Petersen (Ryan), John (J.J.) Reagan (Annie), and Amanda Beck (Daniel); his favorite ex son-in-law Jesse Bollinger and favorite ex daughter-in-law Polly Reagan; his grandchildren - Nick Danger Reagan, Taylor Tuia (Alex), Samantha Reagan (Arnold), Sean Reagan (Breanna), Olivia Langford (Joseph), Lindsey Reamer (Matthew), Carly Reagan, Allie Yuy (Sean), Sabrina Reagan, Keely Reagan, Kennedi Reagan, Taft Reagan, Jairon Petersen (Kenzie), Kaeli Petersen, Dylan Bollinger, Logan Reagan, Cole Reagan, Dayanera Reagan, Brielle Reagan, Tyler Beck, Cameron Beck, and Carter Beck; and his great grandchildren - Jett Tuia, Porter Tuia, Elena Dockstader, Cruz Dockstader, Rollie Dockstader, Ammon Reagan, Aspen Reagan, Sadie Reagan, Katie Langford, Grant Langford, Ephraim Reamer, Oakley Reamer, Elizabeth Reamer, Lex Petersen, and Aria Bowen.\nA memorial service will be held at Jenkins-Soffe on September 2nd at 12pm in the chapel. Jenkins-Soffe is located at 1007 S Jordan Parkway, South Jordan UT 84095. A luncheon will follow directly after the service at the LDS ward building located at 4842 W Vermillion Drive, South Jordan UT 84009.
