Ronald Gene Thomas

Our loving husband, father and grandfather passed away peacefully on November 24, 2011. He was born to Lloyd and Alice Thomas on March 23, 1931 in Vernal, Utah. He married Gayle Johnson on December 23, 1950.

He loved hunting, working in his yard, coaching and attending his children’s and grandchildren’s sporting events and most of all spending time with his family.

Preceded in death by parents, son Donald Gene Thomas, and brothers Lee and Bud Thomas. Survived by wife, Gayle, children Rhonda (Ken) Palmer, Lenny (Vickie) Thomas, Kathy (Bob) McFall, Paul Thomas, Steve Thomas, 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, brother Dean (Shirley) Thomas, and (Margie) Thomas.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, November 29, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Jenkins-Soffe South Valley, 1007 W South Jordan Parkway in South Jordan, Utah. Viewing will be held at 10:00 a.m. prior to services. Interment at South Jordan City Cemetery.
