Roy Dale Harris

Roy Dale Harris passed at home on January 17, 2011 at the age of 41. He is the son of Casey and Goldie Harris. He married Vadra Williams on August 29, 1992, and was sealed in the LDS Temple; later divorced.

Roy was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. His great sense of humor was a joy to all of those who knew him. He was a hard worker and loved his family. He enjoyed family gatherings, camping, gardening, golfing and riding his motor bike. He also loved disassembling and modifying items with his kids, and playing games with his family was a joy to Roy.

He had great empathy for anyone in trouble or in need and gave freely of his time and financial help when he could.

Roy’s presence may be gone, but his sweet spirit will be with us forever in our hearts.

Roy is survived by his four children, Ashley, Zachary, Mackayla, and Austin. Also survived by his parents; brother, Bart (Carolyn); sister, Robin (Ron) Boswell; uncle, Ken Fee; nieces and nephews, Amanda, Mitchel, Mikell, Nikole, Krista, Kali and Dane.

Graveside services will be Saturday, January 22, 2011 at 12 Noon at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park, 3401 S. Highland Drive. Viewings will be held at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 So. State Street, on Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. and Saturday morning from 10:30-11:30 a.m.
