Everyone who knew and loved him called him Lino. Lino was born in San Diego, CA, April 3, 1973 to Tulia Tulia and Talafulu Eseneiaso Lutu Misa. In traditional Samoan fashion, his great-aunt took Lino to American Samoa when he was three months old where he was raised by Ace Agaese and Betty Jane Carden Tago. Lino’s life was surrounded by family, laughter, joy, and love and he will be greatly missed by his parents Ace and Jan Tago, his siblings Ruta Mulifai, Morris Misa, Rob Tago, Mona Misa-McCarthy, Ray Misa, Rene Tago, Siu’Faga Misa, Michelle Tago Tuitupou, Talafulu Misa-Sagale, Stephanie Tago Tuitupou, Marisa Stevens, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his biological parents, Tulia Tuila and Talafulu Eseneiaso Lutu Misa. We will be celebrating Lino’s life on Saturday, August 26, 2006, 12:00 noon at Jenkins-Soffe South Valley , 1007 W. South Jordan Parkway (10600 So.) where friends and family may call from 10-11:45 am.
