Sally Orr Obituary (1959 - 2021)

Sally Jane Christensen Orr, age 62, died peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Friday, December 17, 2021. She is survived by her husband Gary, daughters Amanda and Shelby, granddaughter Isabella, and sisters JoAnn Cleland and Earlene Christensen. Born to Earl and Dellas Christensen of Gunnison, Utah, she was the youngest of four girls. As a sister she was known to be loving, kind, and caring, putting her older sisters before herself. In 1981, she married Gary Orr of Murray, Utah and had two girls Amanda and Shelby. As a mother she would do anything for her girls, she was someone they could confide in and turn to for help. Sally was extremely crafty and enjoyed making things for others, but wedding cakes and Christmas candy were her specialty. Her passion, however, was in quilting with her older sisters where they would attend block of the month clubs and go on quilting retreats. Sally was happiest when she was giving, she was extremely thoughtful and caring to others. She loved to travel with her sisters and go on family camping trips. She is preceded in death by her parents Earl and Dellas Christensen and sister Georgena Crane. Please, no balloons at the graveside services.
