Sedra Santos Davidson Obituary (1981 - 2016)

Sedra Santos Davidson, born June 8th 1981 to Welster and Colleen Santos, was unexpectedly called back to heaven on February 17th 2016. This truly has been one of the most painful losses to the Davidson and Santos Families. Sedra was a beacon of light and love to all that interacted with her, and will be missed incredibly. Sedra had an incredible knack for excelling at everything she tried. She had natural gifts and talents like acting, being industrious, and being a nurturing compassionate person. This became more obvious than ever when she became a mother and dedicated spouse. Sedra met her beloved husband Edward H. Davidson while attending college in Salt Lake City, where they were later sealed for time and all eternity in the Salt Lake City Temple. These two were unstoppable in any task they took on, and thrived on turning challenges into opportunities and blessings. Five short years into their marriage they welcomed their first child Carter. Then just 3 short years later they were blessed with a second son Lincoln. These two boys are living proof of the selfless love that she was known for. Sedra had an unwavering drive to open every door for her children. Sedra put her heart and soul into every project she took on regardless of the time or energy it would take. She is survived by her husband Edward Davidson, their children Carter and Lincoln, her parents Welster and Colleen Santos, her grandparents Claudio Santos and Lois Jean McNutt, her siblings Colin Santos, Lara Santos, and Sephra Southwick. She was preceded in death by Marie Santos, and Harry McNutt. A viewing in her honor will be held Friday February 26th, 2016 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Jenkins-Soffe South Valley, 1007 W. South Jordan Parkway, South Jordan, UT. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 27th, 2016 at 10:00 am at LDS Chapel, 1570 W. 11400 S., South Jordan UT 84095, with a viewing from 9:00-9:45 am.
