Shar Sharp Leigh Obituary (1939 - 2012)

Shar (Sharp) Leigh was born in Delta, Utah to Mel and Helen Sharp on October 24, 1939. Shar was very passionate and enjoyed painting, taking care of her horses, duck hunting and photography. She loved taking pictures of scenery. Shar loved her dogs Twink and Twerp unconditionally. She also was a make-up artist and did paramedical cosmetic techniques. She took pride in the success of owning and operating a very reputable company—The Executive Model Shop for 35+ years. She worked hard to start the company and help it grow into a profitable business located in Sandy and then Salt Lake. Shar is survived by daughter Victoria; grandsons Eric and Brian; and best friends, Linda and Maria. Preceded in death by her father, Mel; mother, Helen; and brother, Burnell; brother, Ronald (died shortly after birth). Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 1, 2012 at 12 Noon at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 So. State Street, with a viewing from 11:00-11:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment: Salt Lake City Cemetery.
