Sherrie Marie Nettleton Hester, beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, grandmother, and friend, has gone home to heaven. She passed away peacefully in her home on February 1, 2021 after years of suffering, which suffering she handled with grace beyond compare. She had amazing love and compassion for others, always inspiring those around her to be better people.\r\n\r\nSherrie (52) was born in Lewiston, Idaho to John and Vicki Nettleton. She married Mark Hester in 1986. Sherrie and Mark were blessed with their daughter Tiffany, who both parents love(d) dearly. Mark was Sherrie’s constant companion and care giver for the past many years. Sherrie’s extended family is forever grateful to Mark for the love and care he provided to Sherrie.\r\n\r\nSherrie was a registered nurse. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Utah. She loved to comfort others in their suffering, even when she was struggling. She had an incredible sense of humor and an ability to find the joy in every difficulty she faced. She could make you laugh even when you felt like crying. She had a beautiful voice and sang like an angel. She was one of the strongest people her family had the privilege to know. The world lost a true gift! Sherrie will be forever missed!\r\n\r\nSherrie is survived by her husband Mark, daughter Tiffany, son-in-law Josh, best friend Vickie Bosworth (Todd), stepchildren Teresa Turner (Ronnie) and Bill Hester (Charla), and five step-grandchildren. She is also survived by her mother, Vicki Nettleton Harman; Tom (Daddio) Harman; siblings, Paul Nettleton, Dawn Call (Brian), Tamara Morton (Tony), Lisa Christensen (Grant), David Nettleton, and Joseph Nettleton (Ramsey); 15 nieces, nephews and great nephews; brothers and sisters in-law Kathy (Gary), Jess (Catherine), and Danny (Phyllis); aunt and cousins; many caring friends and church family; and three adorable kitties. Sherrie is preceded in death by her father, John Nettleton, as well as her grandparents, mother-in-law, brother-in-law, aunt, and cousin.\r\n\r\nA service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on February 5, 2021 at Sherrie’s church, Adventure, located at 352 W. 12300 S.
