Sherry Lee Wright LaSalle-Prows Obituary (1951 - 2013)

Sherry is survived by daughters Jennifer Hodges, Amy Clapp (Bob Clapp), Miranda Snarr (Brandon Snarr), Heidi Jensen (Simon Joseph), and son Dustin Jensen (Lesa Griffiths), and husband Steven Prows. Sherry was a devoted Grandmother of 19 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. She made sure to see her grandkids on their birthdays with a gift. No matter how big or small the gift might be. She was always "heading out west." Christmas has always been her favorite holiday. Sherry was known to take in all the strays whether a teenager or an animal mostly cats. She made her home a safe haven for those who needed a place to regroup. Sherry was an LDS believer whom loved to help where she could. She always tried to do what was right even if you didn't like it. She was a stubborn woman who always wanted her family united. Sherry was a woman that had a huge heart that her kids, grandkids and great-grandkids are proud of. Sherry is loved by many and will be missed greatly. Funeral Services will be Friday, November 8, 2013 at 12 Noon at the Parkway Stake Center, 619 W. 5750 S. A viewing will be from 6-8 p.m. Thursday evening, at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 So.
