Shirley Marshall

Shirley A Marshall, our wonderful Mother and friend passed away on August 7th, 2023. Mom was born on June 8th, 1938, to Edwin McMath Albert and Grace Robertson of Castle Gate, Utah. She attended schools in Carbon County and was an excellent student, her best subject was English.

Mom worked for Utah Transit Authority for over 30 years. She loved to knit and taught family and friends her craft, she gave away many of her finished items to children in her community.

Mom had a green thumb and could keep any plant thriving, even her fussy amaryllis, she was an ardent animal lover and always had a dog by her side.

Shirley was preceded in death by her daughter Tina Colleen Day. She is survived by her daughter Shauna Coskey and her husband Gale and another daughter Lisa Day, two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

A special thank you to our Uncle Alan Albert for his endless time and loving care.

There will be a private ceremony for the family. In lieu of flowers please donate to Best Friends Animal Society or Utah Humane Society.
