Stephen Andelin passed into eternity on July 7, 2023. Preceded in death by his parents, Wilford and Helena, his brothers Lars and Lanny, and his wife Darline, he is survived by his wife Linda, his brother Denis (wife Marty), his sisters Linda (husband Aaron), Doria and Doris, his children Julaire, Anthony (wife Megan), and Jesse, and his step-children Bob (wife Cyndi), Bill (wife Lisa), Tammy (husband Todd), and Cindy (husband Jaren), and by 28 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Always patriotic, Stephen enlisted to serve as a paratrooper in the Vietnam War, and served in the US Army for 20 years in postings around the world, retiring with the rank of Sergeant First Class. He spent much of his post-military career driving long-haul truck across the country, amassing over 2 million miles on the road. Our world will be less exciting and bright without him and he will be remembered for his quirky sense of humor, his love of God and of America and for the love and devotion he showed his family.\n\n“I soon go to rest in the paradise of God, until my spirit and body shall again reunite, and I am brought forth triumphant through the air” (Moroni 10:34)\n\nFuneral services will be held on Saturday, July 15, 2023 at 11:00 am at the Anthem 1st Ward, 5658 Yukon Park Lane, Herriman, Utah. Viewings will on Friday, July 14, 2023 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Jenkins-Soffe South Valley, 1007 W. South Jordan Parkway, South Jordan, Utah and on Saturday from 10:00 – 10:45 am at the church. Interment at Murray City Cemetery.
