“Loved Life”Wow, what an amazing life. Stephen V Calder died April 9, 2012 after a hard fought battle with cancer. He thought he had already beaten the odds after a serious motorcycle accident in 2008, but it wasn’t meant to be. After that accident, he decided to sell his business, MedUSA and spend more time with his favorite people: his wife, Bonnie (Bunnell) of 43 years; his two amazing children, Shad (Heidi) and Nikki (Seth) Parsons; and four wonderful grandchildren, Taylor, Morgan, Emma and Eben.Stephen lived life to the fullest. He and his wife loved to ride their Harleys, vacation in Hawaii, play a lot of golf (his goal was to beat his wife), boat on Lake Powell and shoot competitively with handguns.Stephen was born New Year’s Eve, 1947 to E. Vance and Lois M. Calder of Orem, Utah. He always said the entire world celebrated his birthday. Stephen graduated from Orem High and received a wrestling scholarship from the University of Utah because of taking 1st in State in wrestling his junior and senior years and 3rd his sophomore year. Those that knew him might be surprised to know he was an Eagle Scout and the ward priesthood organist.Stephen was a major tease and loved to torment both family and friends. He will be greatly missed. In lieu of flowers, give your wife and children an extra hug and tell them you love them.
