Therma Smith Brimhall Obituary (1917 - 2007)

Therma Smith Brimhall passed away on February 15, 2007. She was born on November 12, 1917 to the late Samuel A. Smith and Elizabeth Henderson Smith in Draper, Utah. She lived all her early life in Draper until she married DeMar Brimhall on September 16, 1935 in the Salt Lake Temple. Together they enjoyed 71 years of marriage, while raising three children: Larry, Jean Fuhriman and Judy Young. At the time of her death, they have 11 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and 4 great – great grandchildren. Therma was a talented, thoughtful, caring, loving person. She was a mother and homemaker and supported her husband in his work by keeping his books. She was active in the LDS Church and served in numerous callings including Relief Society President and as an Ordinance Worker in the Jordan River Temple. Memorial services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 24, 2007 at the Clay Park Chapel, 67 West Clay Park Drive (near 6400 South and State Street) in Murray, Utah. Visitation will take place from 11:00 – 11:45 a.m. in the Relief Society Room. A private family graveside service was held earlier at the Draper City Cemetery. The family would like to thank the staff and caregivers of Life Care at Home and the Silverado Hospice, in particular, Gina, for their love and special care for Therma.
