Tim Kelly Bench Obituary (1966 - 2014)

Our dear Tim was born in Salt Lake City, UT. He grew up with 2 wonderful parents; 3 older brothers, and 1 older sister. He passed away in Murray, UT due to complications an injury. Tim grew up in West Jordan, UT, where he attended school. He was a very loving and caring person to anyone that he met. He was a very socially spirited individual—always anxious for a good time with friends and family and loved to laugh. Tim had many good friends and was the type of person well remembered once met. Tim enjoyed hunting, fishing, snowboarding and any type of outdoor recreation. He worked in the events industry building sets for concerts, movies and trade shows. A master of ropes, he never missed an opportunity to teach or demonstrate his knot tying skills. Anyone not tying the appropriate knot correctly could expect to hear, "Tie a Knot or Tie a lot." Tim had a passion for music and loved to share it with the world. His big heart and warm personality will surely be missed. Tim is survived by: his son, daughter, 2 stepdaughters, his father, 3 brothers and 1 sister. He is preceded in death by his mother. Funeral services will be Saturday, January 3, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 S. State Street, with a viewing Friday, January 2nd from 6 - 8 p.m. as well as Saturday from 10 -10:45 a.m. Interment: West Jordan City Cemetery. Funeral Home: Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary-Murray 4760 So.
