Travis Bryan Atwood Obituary (1981 - 2018)

Left this life suddenly, never to be forgotten. Born in Salt Lake City, UT to Bryan and Shallon Atwood, grew up in West Jordan and graduated from West Jordan High in 2000. Married the love of his life, Sarah Haskin Atwood Januray 14, 2005. Together they moved from Salt Lake City to Logan, UT where he attended Utah State University, graduating high honors with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, Graphic Design emphasis. Travis had a brilliant mind and was currently working as a Creative Director at Infuse Medical in Lehi, UT. He was an incredible father and fiercely adored his boys, Jackson and Owen. They were his pride and joy. Travis was loyal, kind, passionate, and determined. He was a friend to all. He was quiet, thoughtful, strong, and a hopeless romantic. His passion was being in the mountains- running, hiking, and camping. He had an amazing talent at capturing the beauty of nature and his family through photography. He had an eclectic taste in music, loved good food and conversation, and cherished time spent with his many friends and family. Travis’ passing has created an irreplaceable void and he will be terribly missed by all that had the pleasure of knowing him. Travis is survived by his wife Sarah, his children Jackson and Owen, his parents, his siblings Ben (Heidi), Heidi (Keith) and Parker, father and mother in law, Larry and Nancy Haskin, brother in law, Matthew (Jana), and 10 nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his Grandpa and Grandma Atwood and Grandma Brown. Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 3, 2018 at Jenkins- Soffe Mortuary, 1007 W South Jordan Pkwy, South Jordan, UT 84095. Friends and family may call for a visitation 9:45-10:45 a.m. and a celebration of life will follow at 11:00 a.m. Interment/graveside dedication will be held at 2:00 p.m. at Heber City Cemetery, 680 N 550 E, Heber City, UT. Friends and family are asked and encouraged to share memories of Travis at www.jenkins-soffe.com. These thoughts will be compiled into a book for his children.
