Travis Tueller

–

Riverton, Utah

Our beloved Travis Ray Tueller passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 10, 2026, in Riverton, Utah, surrounded by his family, following a courageous battle with liver cancer. His love for his family, sense of humor, and enduring faith will be forever treasured by all who knew him.

Travis was born on May 26, 1963, in Anchorage, Alaska, to Ronald and Marylee Tueller. He spent the first two years of his life in Alaska before his family moved to the Salt Lake Valley, where he spent most of his childhood. During his teenage years, he also lived for a time in Sun Valley, Idaho. Growing up, Travis loved hunting, fishing, camping, and being outdoors.

Travis attended Murray High School, where he excelled in basketball and other sports and discovered his passion for construction. After graduating, he continued his education at Snow College.

On January 12, 1983, Travis married his high school sweetheart and the love of his life, Becky Moss. They were later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple. Together, they built a life filled with love, faith, adventure, and countless cherished memories. Travis was a devoted father to their five children, but one of his greatest joys was being a grandfather to his 14 grandchildren who lovingly called him “Poppy”. He attended every activity he could and took immense pride in supporting, encouraging, and spending time with them. He was truly an amazing grandpa.

Travis lived with a spirit of adventure and spontaneity. He loved golfing, riding motorcycles, camping, hunting, fishing, and spending time outdoors. He and Becky were blessed to travel extensively, creating memories that became highlights of their years together. Travis was a natural leader, a loyal friend, and the creator of a good time wherever he went. His playful sense of humor brought laughter to those around him, while his compassion made others feel cared for and supported.

A talented electrician, contractor, and pilot, Travis was hardworking, capable, and seemingly good at everything he tried. He was the person everyone called when something needed to be fixed. More importantly, he generously shared his time and talents and was always willing to serve wherever he was needed.

Travis loved his Savior, Jesus Christ. His faith shaped the way he lived - as a compassionate provider, a servant to others, an example to his family, and a man who worked hard and loved deeply. He found great joy in serving in many callings in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He will be remembered as an incredible husband, father, son, grandfather, and generous friend who could always be counted on.
Travis was preceded in death by his sister, Wendy (Mike). He is survived by his beloved wife, Becky; their children, Tony (Stephanie), Cory (Stephanie), Jeremy (Melany), Chelsea (Kaden), and Zac; his parents, Ronald and Marylee; his siblings, Shane (Michelle), Chad (Christine), and Heather (Eric); and his 14 grandchildren.

The family extends its heartfelt appreciation to the Riverton Meadows Ward for the kindness and service shown to Travis and Becky throughout the past year. The family also expresses sincere gratitude to Utah Cancer Specialists and Canyon Home Care & Hospice for the loving and tender medical care they provided to Travis.
