Trevor Mark Ashton\nGenerous, loving, and tender hearted\n\n\t\tTrevor Mark Ashton, 32, passed away June 14, 2022, in Millcreek, Utah. Trevor was born November 29, 1989, in Murray, Utah to loving parents Mark and Kathy. \nTrevor was educated at Alta and Brighton High Schools and graduated in 2008. He was the editor of the Brighton High School Yearbook his Senior year. Trevor earned his bachelor’s degree from Utah Valley University in Communication with a minor in Art History. \nTrevor proudly worked as a Project Coordinator for the Association for Utah Community Health. He loved helping those in need and recently earned an award from Salt Lake County for excellence in COVID response. Trevor worked many years at Good Earth Natural Foods. He had a love for holistic wellness. He also worked at Spring Mobile. Trevor was praised for his ability to find new and more efficient work practices. He had a strong work ethic and was very loyal to his employers. \nTrevor was generous, with a tender, sweet heart. He loved giving gifts; his quiet acts of charity blessed many people. He was very thoughtful, thinking of others before himself. He enjoyed community service and being part of acts of kindness. Most of all, he loved and watched over his sisters, making sure they were cared for before himself. \nTrevor had a special place in his heart for animals especially dogs. His love for his dogs Chloe and Kilo was endless. \nTrevor had a great love for home improvement. He found joy in remodeling and improving his residences especially his condo. He took on many projects to improve his community. He loved gardening and making flowers and vegetables grow. Trevor loved to cook and make treats for others; he was a true foodie. As a child he especially loved Halloween and was fascinated by magic. He enjoyed bowling and being a part of leagues. Trevor loved photography. He truly enjoyed studying Art History especially European Art. He loved to hike and be outside in nature. Walking his dog Kilo gave him love and joy daily. \nTrevor is survived by his Mother, Kathryn Barksdale Sorensen (Bryce) and his Father, Mark John Ashton (Heather), sisters McCall and Lauren Ashton. His Grandparents Glen and Ruth Barksdale and Lee and Linda Ashton. \nThe family would like to thank all friends, family and co-workers who loved and cared for Trevor. There will be a private Celebration of Life Thursday, June 23rd. Trevor will be laid to rest at the South Jordan Cemetery on 10630 South 1055 West. \nAs per Trevor's employers request, contributions to the Trevor Ashton Memorial Fund can be made at any American First Credit Union.
