Trevor George Wright left us unexpectedly on April 4, 2022. Born on October 25, 1984, he was the first child of Jeff Wright and Denise Kallas Wright. He was also the first grandchild for the Wright and Kallas families, and from the moment of his arrival, he was the light in every room and the object of everyone’s affection. Blessed with dashing good looks, a great smile, and a gift for conversation, Trevor could walk into a room of ten strangers and leave with ten friends. For years he worked side by side with his father and brother in his father’s lawncare business, and his amiable spirit made him a favorite weekly visitor of many customers. He was a natural athlete that made whatever sport he tried look easy, but he also knew his way around a kitchen and a barbecue grill. He was a lover of good music, cologne, and clothes, so it’s no surprise that many young women sought Trevor’s attention. But it was Amber Lund that captured his heart, and they married in August of 2006. While they later divorced, their union gave him the gift of becoming a dad to his son Brixton. He was later blessed with a daughter, Brynlie, with former girlfriend Rachelle Taylor. Brixton and Brynlie were truly the loves of Trevor’s life. They were his pride and joy. They embody the best of Trevor—who he was and who he aspired to be.\n\nAsk anyone who knew Trevor well, and they would speak of his tender heart, his desire to connect with other people, his charming personality, and his empathetic ear. He loved fiercely, he listened intently, he felt pain deeply, and he wore his heart on his sleeve. If there is anything more tragic than his sudden departure from this earth, it was that Trevor did not see and fully appreciate in himself the many beautiful qualities others saw in him. He tried so many times to overcome his struggles, and while his family would give anything and everything to have even one more hour with him, we know that he is no longer hurting.\n\nHe will be missed by his dear children Brixton and Brynlie, his loving and devoted parents Denise Ryan and Jeff Wright (Tracey), his brother and best friend Preston, his little “Sis” Caitlin, doting grandparents Marsha Kallas, George Kallas, and Judy Roper, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. A viewing will be held Monday, April 11, from 4:00 pm to 6 pm at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 S. State Street, Murray, followed by a service at 6 pm. Friends and family attending the service will be invited to share thoughts and memories of our sweet Trevor.
