It is with heartfelt love that we celebrate the life of Tyler McCleve, a compassionate, dedicated, loving, and smart soul whose time with us was deeply cherished. Born on July 2, 1990, in Murray, Utah, Tyler was a beacon of light in our lives for 33 years. As his family we speak for all who knew and loved him when we say that his spirit was a gift that will forever be treasured.\n\nTyler's dedication and brilliant mind led him to a fulfilling career as a Solutions Architect in the field of Computer Technology. However, what truly defined him was his immense love for his family. His greatest joy was his beloved daughter, Leah, for whom he would move mountains. It warmed our hearts to see the loving father Tyler had become. His compassionate nature extended beyond his immediate family; he possessed a boundless love for all his siblings, step-siblings, and grandparents. He enjoyed cooking and often turned simple family meals into fond memories. His love for the outdoors led to numerous family camping and boating trips, creating a treasure trove of cherished moments. Tyler once said, "Family isn't just an important thing, it's everything," a mantra that he lived by every day.\n\nTyler's love will continue to live on through those who survive him: his daughter Leah McCleve, his father Kelly McCleve, his mother Julie McOmber, his brothers Jordan (Andi)McCleve, Brandon McCleve, and Cody McCleve, his step-mother Annette Johansen, his step-father Mark McOmber, his sister Enjoli McOmber, his step-siblings Alexis McOmber, Chandler McOmber, Chelsea (Mallori) Oliverson, and Mallory Oliverson, and his grandparents Bruce (Diane) Smith and Veree McCleve. It is comforting to know that Tyler is watching over us, waiting for the day we will be reunited. As author Leo Christopher once said, "There's no such thing as goodbye, only 'see you soon.'"\n\nWe invite you all to join us in celebrating Tyler's life at two public viewings on Friday, October 20, 2023, at 6:00pm MDT, and Saturday, October 21, 2023, at 10:00am MDT, followed by the Funeral Service at 11:00am MDT. All services will be held at Jenkins-Soffe Funeral Home, 1007 South Jordan Parkway, South Jordan, Utah, 84095. We encourage you to leave memories and upload photos on Tyler's memorial page as we honor his beautiful spirit. Your shared experiences and cherished moments with Tyler will serve as a comforting reminder of the love he spread in our lives.
