Udine G. Lauritzen Obituary (1930 - 2014)

Beautiful & Loved by All Anna Udine Greenhalgh Lauritzen, age 83, passed away surrounded by her loving family on July 31, 2014. She was born September 22, 1930 to James Lynn and Valate Stott Greenhalgh in Meadow, Utah. She married Norman R. Lauritzen October 24, 1947 and later sealed in the Manti temple. She radiated beauty and found happiness in her children, grandchildren, sisters and many friends. Udine's greatest joys were traveling with her husband, boating with her family, playing with her sisters, and spending time with her grandchildren who she loved and in her garden where she received beautification awards. She held many church positions throughout her life. She worked for many years as a school secretary for Salt Lake School District. Udine is survived by her three daughters, Lynette (Ronald) Goodemann, Diann (Brent) Higbee, Joy (Scott) Sanford; and Gary (Marina) Lauritzen; 14 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; sisters, Carolyn (Gail) Paxton, Donna (Clinton) Quarnberg, RaeLynn (Vaughn) McDougal; and brother-in-laws, Don (Glenda) Carlson and Richard Black, and sister-in-law, Gwen Westover. She is preceded in death by her husband; daughter, Norma; son, Mark; 2 sisters, Faye Carlson and Shirlene Black. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, August 6, 2014, 11:00 a.m. at Murray Parkway Stake Center, 619 W. 5750 S., Murray. Viewings will be held Tuesday, August 5, 2014, 6-8:00 p.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 South State Street, and at the church from 10:00-10:45 a.m. prior to services.
