Sione Lusa I'Haangana Latu-Lutui

Sione Lusa I’haangana Latu-Lutui, A.K.A. “LuDogg”, passed away on December 27, 2022 at 8:47 pm, surrounded by friends and family.

He was born in Uiha, Tonga on September 07, 1966, to Masiva Latu and Sa’havili Lea’aemanu. He was raised and sealed to Mele Tafuna Lutui, and Vaikalifi Lutui. On June 9, 1988 Lusa married his eternal companion, Mohulamu Kivalu Latu at the Tongan temple and was sealed for time and eternity. He is survived by his 11 children: Nesiasi II (33), Isikeli Skipper Joe (32), Anepetiola Ulukiluluptea (30), Taana I-Tavana (29), Inoke Alkuhilen Desert Warlord Mohammed(28), Max Fa’aikea (26), Hifo I-lakepa Easter-Lily (24), Ana Mohulamu Kivalu Rosales(23), David (21), Jamelle Michelle (20), and Ammon Harold Reiser(16). He also left behind his brothers and sisters: Nesiasi Latu, Ammoni Lea’aemanu, Soni Lutui, Filikei Lutui, Vai Lutui, Isikeli Lutui,Eita Fa, Melini Tukuafu, Pulotu Langi, and Kaloni Niu.

Lusa was sealed to his family for time and eternity in the Salt Lake City Temple. He had a charismatic personality. As a devoted husband, father, brother, and son, he spent most of his time providing, protecting, and serving his family. He will be missed by everyone that knew and loved him, especially by his wife and children.

We will always honour Lusa’s life and continue his legacy until we meet again.
