10/26/1919 ~ 5/21/2016 VERA M. MASCHER BACON TANNER, age 96, died May 21, 2016 in Salt Lake City, Utah after an extended illness. Born October 26, 1919 in Dayton, Wyoming to Albert A. and Lillie Belle Mascher. Married first Lorne W. Bacon and then Andrew J. Tanner, both preceded her in death. She was a retired nursing supervisor for the Salt Lake Veterans Administration Hospital . She is survived by her three sons: Richard Bacon of NM, Roger and Pat Bacon of ID, and R. Wayne Bacon of UT; two step-daughters, Katheryn Fritz of OK and Gayle Johnson of NV; a brother, Lester Mascher of WA; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
