To view a video tribute for Vicki Smith Hufstetler, please click here.\nOur Mom and Grammy\nVicki, born on October 10, 1943 in Ogden, Utah, passed away peacefully on April 6, 2006 at LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah surrounded by her loving family. Vicki was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Larean Smith. She is survived by her seven children: Lauri Downey, Julie (Jim) Knott, Mikel (Chris) Hufstetler, David Hrfstetler, Becki (Jonathan) Pritt, Daniel (Alesha) Hufstetler, Benjamin (Lisa) Hufstetler, and their father Keith (Linda) Hufstetler. She left behind 18 grandchildren and one great grandchild who will all miss their Grammy very much.\nVicki grew up in Clearfield, Utah. She graduated from Davis High School in 1961. She was a very dedicated and loving mother. She had a love of life and a creative spirit. She loved writing road shows, decorating wedding cakes, flower gardening, painting and sewing. She was a wonderful storyteller and writer. She loved to preserve family memories by creating beautiful scrapbooks. One of her favorite pastimes was to cuddle up with a good book, her dog Zoe, and a Diet Coke. She will be loved and missed by all who knew her.\nFuneral services will be held on Tuesday, April 11, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at the Mountain Shadows Ward House in Kaysville (1275 W. 200 N.) Friends and family may call on Monday, April 10, 2006 from 6-8 p.m. at the Lindquist Clearfield Mortuary (1050 S. State Street) and 1 hour prior to services at the church on Tuesday. Interment Syracuse City Cemetery.
