He was born March 24, 1942 in Pangai Ha'apai Tongatapu to Sosaia Tupou and Ahofaiva Malekamu. He had a happy childhood growing up in Tongatapu, and served his LDS mission there as well. He moved to the USA in 1966, served in the army for many years, and later attended the LDS business college. He met and married our lovely mother Sela Pikula on April 23, 1973, and cherished their relationship. They had 5 kids, of which he delighted raising in the gospel. He enjoyed yearly family trips, camping, telling stories to his grandkids, and learning about outer space. Leveti loved the scriptures, seafood, gardening, and old tongan folk songs.\r\nHe was survived by Sela Malekamu (wife), and kids Ahofaiva Sheri Tupou Malekamu, Sione & Olivia Malekamu (Leveti sii, Amelia, Uha, Meleofa, Ema sii), Ema & Soni Lolohea (Ma'ulupe, Pauliasi, Kiu), Elisapeti & Anthony Ama (Sela, Ano, Faiva sii, Kamu leka), and Kina & Savieti Tauveli (Vave sii, Lotolua, Savieti, Kelela).\r\nWe will miss you dad and "pa". Ofa atu... we hope "it's good to touch the green green grass of home".\r\nDue to Covid-19 restrictions there will only be 50 people at a time inside the funeral home. Services will be broadcast live.
