Violet Louise Barker Koehn

Violet Louise Barker Koehn, passed away November 4, 2009 in Sandy, Utah. Born April 6, 1915 to Charles David and Annie Mary Rupp Barker. Married William Koehn in Taylorsville, Utah in 1932. He passed away March 15, 1996.
She was a devoted daughter, sister, wife and mother. Her world was her family. She had style and grace and a caregiver to all she knew. Violet had a great smile and always a sparkle in her eye. She was a life-long member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and worked for ZCMI for many years.
Survived by son, Charles (Jody); grandchildren, Travis, LeslieAnn (Kirt) Hansen, Jenni Hauer; Great-grandchildren, Grace and Fischer Hansen; one sister Mary (David O.) Rawson, and many wonderful nieces, nephews and friends.
Preceded in death by siblings David, Ruth and Ferris Barker and Erma Kittleberger and Helen Ford.
Family would like to thank all those who assisted her in her last days especially Julie with Sunbrook Hospice and the Alta Ridge Assisted Living.
Graveside services Monday, November 9, 2009, 11:30 a.m. at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park. Friends may call Monday, 10-11:00 a.m. at the Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 South State, Murray, Utah.
