Virginia Devecchi Pazell, age 91, passed away May 10, 2009 surrounded by her family. \nBorn May 12, 1917 in Los Angeles, CA to Josephine and James Devecchi. Married to Michael P. Pazell on November 4, 1939 in Murray, Utah. Member of St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church.\nSurvived by children Jacqueline M. (John) Cox, Sandy, UT, Michael A. (Kaye) Pazell, Woodlawn, TN; grandchildren Dr. Sean M. (Buket) Cox, Istanbul, Turkey, CMDR Anthony W. (Kathie) Cox, Monterey, CA, Michael B. Pazell, Aurora, CO; great-grand-children Isabella M. Cox and Alessandra V. Cox, Monterey, and Patrick B. Cox, Istanbul, three step-grandchildren, one great-step-grandson, sisters Josephine (Ed) Vismara, San Carlos, CA, and Elanor Mack, Sandy, UT and many nieces and nephews.\nPreceded in death by her husband, her parents, a sister Mary Canoso and a brother Anthony Devecchi.\nA funeral mass will be celebrated May 13, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. at the St. Vincent’s Catholic Church, 1375 Spring Lane (5000 South), where friends may call at the church from 6-7 p.m. Interment will be Thursday, May 14, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Murray City Cemetery.
