Wayne Carl Lundeberg, Jr., 86, passed away July 10, 2011, after a long battle with Parkinson disease. Wayne was born March 20, 1925, in Twin Falls, ID, to Wayne Carl and Erma Johnston Lundeberg.\n\nMember of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Graduate of South High. Served in the Army during WWII. Married Joyce Marion Brewster, later divorced. Married Louise Cannon Deakin, later divorced.\n\nWayne took over his step-father’s upholstery business (Modern Upholstery) and later worked in the floor covering industry and as owner of Custom Floors, where he was well known and respected. Throughout his life, he enjoyed flying his airplane and boating in boats he had made himself. Wayne was well loved and admired by his family and friends.\n\nHe is survived by his sons, Kim and Kraig (Kelly) Lundeberg, and daughter Kit (Bill) Hansen, 10 grandchildren, and 7 ½ great grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents, daughter-in-law Kimberly, brother Ronald, and sister Gloria Whittaker.\n\nFor the past 5 ½ years, Wayne has lived at Legacy House of Taylorsville. The family appreciates the great care, love, and support they have given Wayne and his family.\n\nFuneral services will be held Thursday, July 14, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 South State Street, where a viewing will be held Wednesday, July 13, 2011 from 6-8 p.m. and one hour prior to the funeral services. Interment Salt Lake City Cemetery.
