Wendy Anne Eldridge Gansereit, 60, dearly loved wife, mother, Nana, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. Left us suddenly on Friday, May 11th from complications associated with cardiac arrest.\n\nShe was born September 9, 1946 to Colin and Marian Eldridge in Highland Park, Illinois. Then moved to Menlo Park, California via Salt Lake City, Utah. She ran off with the love of her life, John. They eloped and were married September 13, 1966 in Augusta, Georgia. After John's military commitment a job opportunity brought them back to Salt Lake. Their love and commitment for each other was very strong and continued to go for over 40 years. \n\nWendy's life was one of ongoing and never wavering devotion to her family and friends. Her heart was bigger than life itself. She will be deeply missed by her husband and best friend, John; children, Duane (Sharon), Heidi Clausen (Tony), Emily and friend (Amy).\n\nSurvived by her parents; brothers & sisters, Joy Parker, Carol Root, David, John & Marjorie Eldridge. Grandchildren, Dylan Young, Adam & Zachary Clausen, & Baylie Gansereit. \n\nAt mom's request, no viewing or services will be held. The family request in lieu of flowers that a donation be made to St Mark's ICU department. Their dedication and professionalism is very appreciative during this difficult time.
