William Sorensen

William (Bill) Lee Sorenson, Age 50, passed away suddenly at home January 4, 2022. Born December 13, 1971 to Buddy Ray Sorenson and Anne Marie Sorenson in Murray, UT. His parents later divorced, and his mother married David Lozer who became Bills loving stepfather.

He graduated from Murray High School in 1991. He married Angela Anderson in 1998 and together they had a daughter Makayla Anne.

He was active in the Masonic Lodge, He competed in the Wasatch Dart League where he was an avid competitor especially the game of Cricket. He loved Nascar and was a faithful follower, His favorite NFL team was the Colts, and college football was Alabama.

He is survived by his daughter Maykayla Swander (Scott) and a grandchild to be born later this year. His former wife and best friend Angela, two brothers Elliott and Buddy (Loura), two sisters Raelynn Elliott Erickson, and Aralee, and his stepfather David, numerous nieces and nephews and grand-nieces and nephews, and many friends and associates. Preceded in death by his parents and all maternal grandparents and numerous aunts and uncles and his brother-in-law Johnny Erickson.

Our hearts are forever broken our lives forever changed he will be dearly missed and never forgotten.

A Celebration of Life will be held January 15, 2022 from 3:00 to 5:00 PM at Jenkins-Soffe Funeral Home 4760 So State Street Murray UT 84107.

There is also a get together planned at the Bongo Lounge 2965 So. Highland Drive Salt Lake City 84106 From 7:00 -9:00 PM so everyone can have one last shot with Bill.
